Terms of Service
Summary (non-binding): These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Albora. They explain eligibility, accounts, acceptable use, user content rules, purchases (if any), and how disputes are handled. If there is any conflict between this summary and the Terms, the Terms control.
- You must follow applicable laws, platform rules, and these Terms.
- You keep ownership of your content, but grant Albora rights needed to operate and promote the Service features you use.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or harm others.
- Some features may rely on third-party services (e.g., TikTok login). Third-party terms may apply.
Albora is a platform for community events and tournaments. Albora does not organize events by default and is not responsible for promises made by users (e.g., prizes, attendance, sponsorships). Organizers and participants remain responsible for their conduct.
1. About Albora
Albora provides tools to create, host, discover, and participate in community events and tournaments for creators. The service may include a mobile application, a website, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service (“you”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Definitions
For clarity, the following terms have specific meanings:
- Account: your Albora profile and login session.
- Organizer: a user who creates or manages an Event.
- Participant: a user who joins, competes, or interacts with an Event.
- Event: any tournament, match, bracket, announcement, or community activity created using the Service.
- User Content: content you submit, post, upload, or generate through the Service (text, images, titles, rules, etc.).
- Virtual Items: digital items such as coins, credits, or similar in-app values, if offered.

5. Privacy & data
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR principles when relevant. We collect and use data necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
For details about what we collect, how we use it, legal bases, retention periods, and your rights, please read our Privacy Policy.

6. The Service, availability & updates
6.1 Service scope
Albora may offer features including event creation, participant management, announcements, rankings, invitations, and related community interactions. Certain features may be experimental, region-limited, or available only on specific platforms.
6.2 Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, third-party issues, or events outside our control.
6.3 Updates & changes
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including introducing limits, new rules, or new requirements to protect the platform, users, or compliance obligations. Where required by law, we will provide notice.
6.4 Beta features
Some features may be labeled beta, preview, or early access. These features may contain bugs, may change frequently, and may be discontinued without notice.
7. User content & licenses
Your content. You are responsible for content you submit or post through the Service (e.g., event titles, descriptions, images, announcements, comments) (“User Content”).
7.1 Ownership
You retain any rights you have in your User Content. Albora does not claim ownership of your User Content.
7.2 Your responsibility for User Content
You represent and warrant that:
- you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content,
- your User Content does not violate laws, third-party rights, or platform rules,
- your User Content is not misleading, fraudulent, or harmful.
7.3 License you grant to Albora
To operate the Service, you grant Albora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display), display, and distribute your User Content solely for:
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Displaying event and tournament pages
- Enabling sharing features you choose to use
- Moderation, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
- Promotion of the Service only to the extent your content is public and you used public sharing/visibility features
This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain it for legal, security, dispute resolution, or backup reasons, or where it has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.
7.4 Moderation
We may remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content we believe violates these Terms, applicable laws, or platform safety requirements. We may also act on user reports.
We do not actively monitor all content, and we do not guarantee that content will always be accurate, safe, or appropriate. You may encounter content that you find offensive or objectionable.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable laws
- Harass, abuse, threaten, dox, defame, or harm others

If we believe your activity may cause harm, violate laws, or compromise the Service (including fraud attempts), we may restrict access immediately, including temporary holds for investigation.
9. Events & tournaments
9.1 Organizer responsibility
Organizers are responsible for their Events, including rules, format, eligibility requirements, prizes (if any), and compliance with local laws and platform rules.
Organizers must ensure that event pages and announcements are truthful and not misleading.
9.2 Participant responsibility
Participants are responsible for their participation, including their conduct, eligibility, and compliance with the Organizer’s rules and any applicable laws.
9.3 No guarantee
Albora provides tools to help manage participation but does not guarantee attendance, results, outcomes, prize delivery, sponsorship fulfillment, or the accuracy of user-provided information.
9.4 User-to-user disputes
Disputes between Organizers and Participants should be resolved between those parties. Albora may assist with moderation where reasonable but is not a party to user-to-user agreements.
If you believe an Organizer or Participant is acting unlawfully or dangerously, you should stop interacting, report through the Service when available, and contact local authorities if needed.
10. Payments, virtual items & refunds
10.1 Paid features
Albora may offer paid features, subscriptions, or Virtual Items. Availability and pricing can vary by region and platform (e.g., Apple App Store / Google Play). Taxes may apply where required.
10.2 Virtual Items (coins/credits)
If Virtual Items exist, they are digital values that may be used only within the Service as described at the time of purchase (or grant). Virtual Items:
- have no cash value and are not legal tender,
- are non-transferable (unless we explicitly allow transfers),
- may expire or be adjusted if required for safety, fraud prevention, or legal reasons,
- may be revoked if obtained through fraud, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
10.3 Billing, app stores & chargebacks
Purchases processed via third-party platforms (e.g., Apple/Google) are governed by their billing terms. We do not control platform decisions regarding refunds for platform-processed transactions.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your Account while we investigate, and we may require repayment of disputed amounts before restoring access.
10.4 Refund policy
Refund eligibility depends on the purchase method, applicable consumer laws, and platform policies. Where required by law, you may have additional rights that cannot be waived.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, logos, design, and visual elements, is owned by Albora or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission, except as allowed by mandatory law.
12. Copyright / IP complaints
If you believe content on Albora infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at support@albora-mobile.com with:
- your contact information,
- a description of the work you believe is infringed,
- a link or clear identification of the allegedly infringing content,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized,
- a statement that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act,
- your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove or restrict content and, where appropriate, may notify the user who posted it. Repeated infringement may result in account termination.
13. Third-party services & links
The Service may integrate or link to third-party services (such as TikTok authentication) or third-party websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
14. Suspension & termination
14.1 Our right to act
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you: (a) violated these Terms, (b) created risk or harm, (c) used the Service unlawfully, or (d) attempted to compromise security or platform integrity.
14.2 Notice & appeal
Where appropriate and feasible, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. However, we are not required to do so in all cases (e.g., urgent safety or fraud situations).
14.3 Your choice to stop
You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion requests can be made via the app or by contacting support. Certain data may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy for legal or security reasons.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Albora does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data where appropriate.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
To the extent permitted by law, Albora’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Albora (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17. Indemnification

- your violation of these Terms, laws, or third-party rights,
- your participation in Events (including disputes with other users).
18. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable European laws. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts within our jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notice). By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.
